Before joining NGP, Drew worked in business development at LinkedIn, where he consulted for enterprise clients on talent acquisition and employer branding. While there, he also won a LinkedIn Talent Magnet Award in recognition of his knack for attracting and referring employees.
Prior to LinkedIn, Drew was at IBM in the Watson Analytics Group. At IBM, Drew helped governments use augmented intelligence for predictive policing. He also served as IBM’s data expert on a business reality-TV show. Drew began his career in sales management at a plastics-manufacturing business. It was here that he developed great appreciation for the world of small business.
Drew grew up in “Steeltown USA,” Youngstown, OH, as the oldest of four boys. His father is a 3rd-generation Reverend, and his mom is a piano-teacher. He moved to Chicagoland for a BA in Theology at Wheaton College, where he also got into the NCAA Mascot Hall of Fame. Drew’s MBA is from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in Strategy, Finance, and Economics.
Drew and his wife live in Greektown, Chicago. He enjoys sailing, scuba diving, and recently secured his motorcycle license. Drew also dedicates time volunteering through his local church.
