NGP ADds Two Entrepreneurs-in-Residence to Team
David Bochetto & Josh Weiss Join NextGen Growth Partners as EIR's
CHICAGO – September 6, 2017 – NextGen Growth Partners (NGP), a Chicago-based private equity firm that taps Chicago’s top entrepreneurs to acquire and grow lower middle market businesses, today announced that it has added two new members to its team. David Bochetto and Josh Weiss will be working together as EIRs at NextGen to take lead in identifying investment opportunities, and both will ultimately take leadership roles within one portfolio company to facilitate its growth.

Prior to joining NGP, Dave worked as an Associate for Ares Management in the Tradeable Credit Group, where he managed a $2.0bn portfolio of leveraged loans, high yield bonds, distressed debt, and special situation equity investments. Additionally, Dave worked as an Investment Banking Analyst for UBS in their Financial Sponsors and Leveraged Finance Group and in Business Development and Strategy for the Content Distribution Group at GoPro.
Prior to joining NGP, Josh was the President and Founder of Bluegala, an online retailer of gowns for social occasions, which he ultimately sold to private investors in 2015. Prior to Bluegala, Josh worked as the Chief Strategy Officer for Alight, as well as in the High Credit Yield Research Group at Lehman Brothers.
NGP invests in fundamentally sound businesses with between $5 and $50 million of annual revenue, primarily in the business services sector.
