Pia Ambardar is an Executive-in-Search at NextGen Growth Partners, focused on acquiring and leading a surgical equipment distribution business in the Pacific Northwest.
Prior to NGP, Pia was at Amazon for 13 years, where she built, operated, and scaled technical BD and sales teams globally. During her tenure, she brought several new products and services to life, owned large P&Ls, and led strategic partnerships with some of the world’s largest companies. Her career has centered on creating long-term relationships and building high-performing organizations.
That expertise in technical sales and relationship management is what brings her to the world of surgical equipment. In this business, the trust built with physicians underpins everything, and companies that serve the relationship at the highest standard are considered partners, not suppliers. Pia is seeking to acquire and personally lead one exceptional business in this space, and carry forward the relationships and culture that made it successful.
Pia lives in Seattle with her husband and two children. She is an avid tennis player and fan, and has attended all four Grand Slams. Early in her career, she spent three years as a professional actor. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and an undergraduate engineering degree from Columbia University.
