Austin is CEO of Sunrise Landscape, Inc., a commercial and residential landscaping company based in Florida. He oversees the Sunrise family of companies including Sunrise Landcare, Sunrise Landscape and GreenCorps. Most recently, Austin was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at NextGen Growth Partners.
Prior to NextGen Growth Partners, Austin worked at his family construction business as a Process Improvement Manager and worked side-by-side with the management team to help the business grow. After a successful sale of the business to a strategic acquirer, Austin joined Sonoco Products Company, a $5B consumer packaging multinational, as a Financial Analyst. At Sonoco, Austin worked as part of the operations team in the paper and adhesives manufacturing division, where he continued his focus on process improvement.
Austin studied at the University of South Carolina, earning a BS in International Business and graduating Magna Cum Laude. While there, he won the NCAA Division I National Championship as a member of the USC baseball team. Austin received a MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in entrepreneurship, operations and economics.
