Dave Rhodes

Chief Technology Officer, Condata Global

David has more than 25 years of experience leading teams in information technology and software development and is currently the Chief Technology Officer of Condata Global, a portfolio company of NextGen Growth Partners.

He spent several years in telecommunications, including Rockwell, Alcatel and Ameritech (now part of AT&T). After moving to Chicago, he turned his attention to financial services, working with Northern Trust and Options Clearing Corporation. In 2000, he joined TransactTools, a startup focused on protocols and tools for electronic trading. He led the team providing software and services to Archipelago, a Chicago-based electronic securities exchange. In 2007, both companies were acquired by the New York Stock Exchange.

In 2008, he joined Chicago Trading Company, a market maker for options on exchanges in the U.S. and Europe. As Director of Software Development, he grew the development and trading support staff to 70 people, and led the team through a reorganization to better align with the operations and goals of the business.

David earned his B.A. in Economics from Rice University and his M.B.A. from Texas Tech University. He serves as President of The GardenWorks Project, a non-profit helping people to grow fresh produce at home.
