Greg Bilazarian

Entrepreneur-in-Residence

Greg’s circuitous path to SMB entrepreneurship started in journalism, where he developed his curiosity for the stories behind businesses—the origin, the pivots, the legacy. He began as a local TV reporter in Florida and Ohio before spending a year in Armenia co-building an online news outlet, which showed him the impact a committed team can have with limited resources.

Greg spent the last decade at BCG and Amazon, most recently at AWS working directly with IT Managed Service Providers and growth-focused private equity for five years. He built new teams, launched programs, and partnered with customers to create solutions tailored to the private equity lifecycle. This work gave him deep connections in the MSP channel and genuine understanding of what it takes to grow service businesses.

Now at NextGen Growth Partners, Greg is focused primarily on acquiring an IT Managed Service Provider, though he’s open to other B2B service businesses. He brings operational expertise and empathy to help business owners transition successfully while preserving what they’ve built. His favorite part is talking to founders about their stories.

Greg grew up in South Jersey near Philadelphia and is currently based in Washington, D.C. He holds a BS from Syracuse University and an MBA from Yale School of Management.
