Drew grew up in a small farming town in Central Illinois. The youngest of four children, he played sports during the school year and worked for his dad’s small business in the summers. After graduation, he attended Southern Illinois University–Carbondale and majored in accounting.
After graduation, Drew joined the Marine Corps and became a human intelligence officer. While in, he was based out of Camp Lejeune, NC and deployed twice, leading teams that were spread across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. After five years, Drew left the military and moved to Nashville, TN, where he met his wife.
Post-military and prior to NGP, Drew led a data analytics team at Asurion, launched a Gen-11 fulfillment center at Amazon, and managed the network engineering of over 1.5 million packages delivered per day.
Drew is married and lives with his wife and four dogs in Nashville, where they enjoy playing with their dogs, spending days on the lake, reading on the front porch, going to church, and getting overly competitive while playing yard games. He received his BS in accounting from SIU-Carbondale and his MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
